A guy at the Kansas City tournament named Dwayne wants to have me play rugby in a 7's circuit of teams this summer with a potential job included.
John Scheef works down in Austin and may have a use for me with the Austin Blacks or Hunns, he owns a mineral company.
I thought I had an option to work with renewables up in Denver with my old high school coach, but he reneged on that by changing the subject and pushing me to play in Dallas, internship unclear.
I've also applied to more than 10 internships across the US through a few websites and just finished applying to be a windfarm technician in McCamey Texas...
The pie in the sky summer would be playing international rugby through my new coach's connections, but I don't know how all that work with club athletics back in the US so that may not be too likely (on top of the whole "having to be good enough to get recruited") part.
I have no idea what I am to do this summer, but I for sure will have a job so I can't be too unsatisfied. I am confused to say the least, but also very...
very...
Grateful.
Fingers crossed I don't end up just sitting around at my parent's place!
