So far so good! We left for the airport at 4:00am sharp. Interestingly enough, we had a shuttle service come to scoop us and I'm almost certain the poor chap was dozing off behind the wheel but we arrived in one piece so I can't really complain. It was astonishing to see how many Baltimore Ravens fans had flown in to see them play the Cowboys. I forget that fanaticism doesn't end at the college level. The prologue to the trip took us to the beautiful airport of Atlanta, Georgia. With no time to tarry, the moment the plane touched down we sifted through the crowds and boarded the 747 to Narita Japan. I'm finding I'm already at a point where flying doesn't excite me quite as much as it used to, but I'm enjoying this trek.
The Boeing 747 is something anybody who books a flight needs to experience. It's a double decker aircraft lined with wonderful technology and in this exact instance, empty seats. Of this 13 hour flight I've slept for 2 and fought tooth and nail to get a movie started for 4. There are these touch screens at the back of each seat that seem to be working quite nicely for others around me. I was only so lucky to get a moment of lucidity out of my contraption a few moments ago. Tarzan is working, so Tarzan it is.
