Halloween This Year

I, starting at 12:00am, started my laundry. From there, I left and shared a meal with a floor mate and friend of mine named "niko" ( cane's chicken ) and discussed the enigma that is joining the marine reserves. Then he went off to sleep as I went to check on my clothes and move them to the dryer. Once in the basement laundry room again, I met a teammates roommate also named John and we talked about Skyrim. Then on a whim, I set my clothes on a 1 hour drying cycle and took a walk. It's about 2:00am. I go out, find my usual spot, and dance and sing and explore my mind uninterrupted for an hour. 3:04 I start walking home. 3:25 I get to the laundry room and put up my clothes and make it back upstairs. 3:55 my roommate starts to come in, so I fake being asleep and lye down until I fall asleep. 9:30 I realize I missed my class and go back to sleep. 10:45 I wake from a dream that was quite beautiful and dream like again. The first about sending drunk texts to a girl and meeting others, the other about the whole house thing I plan to write about. 11:15 I head out the door to the mandatory south oval festivities where I will hand out flyers. 11:45 I joke with the guys and coach leaves to prior obligations, we all split. 12:00 I'm in the library sitting on a bench and listening to music and watching dance videos. 1:20 i make it through the entire library expedition we had for English and stop to chat with Madi, Josh and Joane on the way home. 2:30 madi leaves and Jon Bellows, Logan and I all go to eat Cane's. 3:13 we leave and decide to go to our respective rooms as there is nothing to do. My roommate is there and we chill and talk about Coldplay, the Goo Goo Dolls etc. whilst listening to them. 3:55 I ask if anyone wants to hang out. 4:10 I get a reply. 4:47 I wake up from a nap I said I wouldn't take feeling like a million bucks ( I said that aloud ), my roommate was still taking a nap of his own. 5:08 I get to nicks dorm with Somto and Victoria, and we watch Would You Rather. 6:40 we leave bumping some tunes to go to team dinner. 7:15 I starting stuffing my face. 7:23 Robert starts rapping and tricky and I are his backup dancers. I laugh my head off. 7:40 coach shares a poem about frogs and I can't hold it in, so I am back to laughing again. 8:02 we are back and rushing about to get our costumes on. 8:40 Somto is dancing and daisy dukes and a flannel for a Snapchat. 8:57 we're about to leave Nick's room with myself dressed as Drake and Nick dressed as Macklemore. 9:04 we're in Matt's room having a grand old time playing typical party games. 12:26 we get back to Nick's and clean up. 12:32 we are at canes and get into a dancing fest in the lobby of canes with a security guard ( shmoney ) and Nick gets hit on big time. I chuckle. 12:53 we finish food and continue the movie. 1:28 the movie ends. 1:31 Secret Life of Walter Mitty begins. 3:22 we leave the room and go our separate ways. 4:00 I'm lying down in Victoria's room because there is an open bed and my roommate had a girl over. 4:15 I'm standing at the window soaking in the grandeur of all that is life presenting it's majestic mountainous face at me. 4:28 I'm lying down and unable to sleep because I feel I must write all this down.

I put a whole lot of life into these hours. Didn't let a single moment go amiss, and that's not something I'd ever been able to say before. At least not that I can quickly remember. Not for an entire 24 hours. I'm very happy right now and expect to fall asleep with a smile on my face.
